Class of 2024 Visual Art: A Force for Change
February 16, 2022
Tenth Grade Visual Arts students investigated the printmaking work of Francisco Goya and German Expressionist artists in the A Force for Change unit. They explored how the selection of subject matter, composition arrangements, and visual representation create a visual language through which they were able to communicate their concerns, fears and personal responses to the social and political issues within their world. Reflecting on their own experiences, students developed compositions, which they executed using the drypoint printmaking method.
